User Data Deletion

At HiBee, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your data from our platform, including data obtained through Facebook Login and Meta platform integrations.

1. What Data Can Be Deleted

Upon request, we will delete the following data associated with your account:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, profile details, and account settings.
  • Connected Platform Data: Facebook Page tokens, Instagram account data, WhatsApp Business data, Telegram bot tokens, and all associated page/account metadata.
  • Messaging Data: All conversations, messages, and contact information from connected platforms.
  • Product Catalogs: All uploaded or synced product data.
  • Bot Configuration: AI settings, custom responses, and training data.
  • Team Data: Agent accounts, roles, and invitation history.
  • Analytics Data: Usage statistics, conversation metrics, and dashboard data.

Note: Billing transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by financial regulations.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:

Option A — From Your Account Settings

  1. Log in to your HiBee account.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Account.
  3. Click "Delete My Account".
  4. Confirm the deletion in the dialog box.

This will immediately schedule your account and all associated data for deletion.

Option B — Via Email

Send an email to privacy@hibee.bd with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

  • Your registered email address.
  • Your account name or company name.
  • Whether you want full account deletion or deletion of specific data only.

Option C — Facebook Data Deletion Callback

If you signed up using Facebook Login, you can also request data deletion directly from Facebook:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
  2. Find HiBee in the list of active apps.
  3. Click "Remove" and select "Delete all data associated with HiBee".

This triggers our automated data deletion callback. You will receive a confirmation code for tracking your deletion request.

4. Facebook Data Deletion Callback

In compliance with Meta's data deletion requirements, HiBee provides an automated data deletion callback endpoint.

When a user removes HiBee from their Facebook Apps and Websites settings:

  • Facebook sends a signed deletion request to our callback URL.
  • We verify the request and initiate deletion of all data associated with that Facebook User ID.
  • A confirmation code and status URL are returned for tracking.
  • All data linked to the Facebook user is deleted within the timelines listed above.

5. Verification

To protect your privacy, we may verify your identity before processing a deletion request. This may involve:

  • Confirming your email address via a verification link.
  • Matching your request details with our account records.
  • For Facebook callback requests: verifying the signed request from Meta.

6. What Happens After Deletion

  • Your account will be permanently deactivated and inaccessible.
  • All connected platforms (Facebook Pages, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram) will be disconnected.
  • AI bots will stop responding on all linked channels.
  • Team members will lose access to the workspace.
  • This action is irreversible. Deleted data cannot be recovered.

7. Partial Data Deletion

If you want to delete specific data without deleting your entire account, you can:

  • Disconnect a platform: Go to Settings → Connections and remove the specific platform. All data from that platform will be deleted.
  • Delete conversations: Remove specific conversation threads from the inbox.
  • Remove products: Delete product catalogs from Settings → Products.

For other partial deletion requests, email privacy@hibee.bd with details of what you'd like removed.
